Savings on Prescriptions: A Chamber Member Benefit

September 28, 2010

Richard Gibson, Vice-President & Chief Administrative Officer

What little piece of paper can save you money at the pharmacy?  A ScriptSave® prescription drug savings card, that’s what.  It’s easy to get – just click here, print it off, and start saving.

The card can be used by you, and everyone in your household for savings on both brand name and generic prescriptions.  There’s NO COST for your card and NO LIMITS on usage.  Participating pharmacies include CVS, Walgreen’s, Wal-Mart, Target, and more.

It’s easy to use.  Simply present your ScriptSave® card at any of the thousands of participating pharmacies nationwide to receive your instant savings.  Just show your card to the pharmacist each time you or a family member fill or refill a prescription.  There are no age or income restrictions.  And it even covers prescription medications for your pets!

The ScriptSave® program began in 1994 and, since then, cardholders have saved over $1 billion on their prescription drug purchases.  Though your individual savings may vary (depending on your particular prescriptions), savings average 22 percent.

The ScriptSave® card is just one of the many cost-saving benefits we’ve made available not only to our Chamber members, but the general public.  Let your friends know how they too can save by printing off the card.  (And if the company for which you work is a Chamber member, you’re a member, too.)  We not only help you save money on your prescriptions, we also have benefits covering wireless telephone service with Sprint, office supplies and furniture with Staples, small business health insurance with BlueCross and BlueShield of Kansas City, and more.

The Chamber – working to help you do business smarter.
